If you’re only going to read one blog on educational technology, The Tech Savvy Educator is the one I’d recommend. Ben Rimes has had his blog for quite awhile, and writes, in an understandable way, how teachers can best use tech in their classrooms.
Recent posts have included ones on an innovative way he’s used Google Earth — by having his students act as a sort of Travel Agency and another on the photographic resources at the New York Public Library.
Check his blog out if you haven’t already.
A heart felt thank you for the very kind words Larry. I’m flattered that you think so highly of my site, especially when there are so many “big thinkers” out there in the Ed Tech field who blogs that have much larger readership than mine.
I’m glad you enjoyed the Google Earth project. With luck, we’ll be able to revisit the project next year, only include links and images within the placemarks.
