World Weather

Posted at 1:12 am under geography, learning games

World Weather is a great game that teaches weather symbols and geography.  It’s produced by the Arabic arm of the British Council.  In it, a weather forecaster tells you the weather (with audio and text support) for different countries around the world.  You then have to match the appropriate weather symbols with the correct countries.

While you’re at this site, you might want to go to the “Games” drop-down menu to see a list of other fun English activities.

I’ve placed the link to this site in two places.  It’s on the English Themes For Beginners and Early Intermediate under the Weather section.  It’s also on my Geography page under Sites That Cover Many Areas.  As with most new sites I place on my website, you’ll find the link near the bottom of both categories.
