Music For ESL

Posted at 1:24 am under music and art, teacher resources

I use music a lot in my classes.  iTunes, of course, is an ideal place to download individual songs to use in the classroom.  Finding the lyrics to print-out, however, has been a different matter.  It’s easy to find them on the Internet, though often there are inaccuracies and so many lyrics sites have tons of annoying pop-up ads.

Yahoo Lyrics has just started, and it seems like the best place to get accurate lyrics without those annoying pop-ups.

I’ve placed that link on my Teacher’s Page under Movies and Music For ESL, where you’ll also find other helpful hints on using music (and movies) to assist English Language Learners.
