Create an Edventure Maze

Posted at 12:06 am under learning games, web 2.0

Edventure Maze is an interesting little exercise.  You, and students, can create mazes (either a cornfield one or, I believe, one based in the Australian Outback).  In order to navigate safely out of the maze you have to answer a series of multiple choice questions correctly.  You, or your students, create the questions and answers.

The mazes you create stay on the website for a month, though I believe (but am not sure) that you can “renew” them every month so they stay active.

This might a fun thing for English Language Learners to do sometime.  It requires content knowledge and the correct formulation of questions, in a fun way.

I’ve placed the link on my Examples of Student Work page under Student Educational Mazes.

    Dr. Larry Ferlazzo,

Thank you for making my website, EdventureMaze.com, your link of the day (a couple of months ago). It is a great honor! I was not aware of this until I happened upon this on a Google search just today. I would love to make this a news item on my website with a link over to you (with your permission of course).

I can see from reading your bio/background that you are an accomplished and dedicated teacher and an active contributor to your community. Thanks for your dedication and nobel endeavors.

If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know. I appreciate the link.

    Brian Pratt
