“PowerPoint” on the Web

I’ve posted before about applications that allow you to easily upload PowerPoint presentations to the web.

Now, however, I’d like to share about a new website that lets you actually create PowerPoint-like presentations and then hosts it for you.  Students can make them and then email the url to a teacher and post it in a blog or online journal.

The site is called Preezo. I heard about it through the Mashable blog today.  Interestingly, Google is supposedly going to announce a similar service next week.

These kinds of sites just make easier for English Language Learners, and all students, to post their work online so that their friends and families can access their creations.

I’ve placed the link to Preezo on my Examples of Student Work page under Student Slide-Shows.
