I posted yesterday about the idea of blog “Carnivals.” It’s new to me, but perhaps not-so-new to many of you.
I thought I would try starting a monthly “ESL, EFL, ELL Carnival.” I would “host” the first one and, if there’s interest, a different blog would host each subsequent “Carnival.”
Anyone can submit a blog entry they’ve written and posted to their own blog anytime over the summer or during the month of September that they particularly like — is it insightful or useful? The only criteria is that you think it relates to teaching English Language Learners in some way.
You can submit the link to that blog post to either this easy submission form or email it to me at MrFerlazzo@aol.com.
The deadline will be September 30th.
I’ll then write a post sharing everyone’s entries and links shortly after that date.
I tag you on a meme, and now your organizing your own carnival. Sure, I’ll participate. Most of the stuff I have that’s good now, is from last spring because I didn’t teach summer school.
Alice,
Great! Last spring is fine, too. I’m certainly not going to be strict on the time frame….
Larry
Thank you for your invitation to participate in the ESL Carnival. I think it is a great idea. I am going to write a new post on “language teaching web resources types”. As soon as I have posted, I’ll send you the link.
Congratulations for your wonderful blog and website.
Great idea, Larry! Thanks for the invitation. First you organize the Non-Virtual Community and now you organize the ESL Blogosphere. Of course, now I have to hurry and come up with a great idea for teaching ESL and blog about it. I’m afraid my blog has been wandering and meandering on ‘whatever’ hits my fancy. See, you’ve got me back on task now.
