Earthcams For Kids

Posted at 12:35 am under geography, social studies, video

Earthcams For Kids is a collection of webcams (stationary video cameras that show, in real time, what’s happening at the location of the camera) that are appropriate for students.  These webcams include images of space, nature, and different cities from throughout the world.

Students can use these to learn more about the world, and also for writing and speaking practice.   Students can write about what they see, or tell each other about what’s on the monitor.

I’ve placed the link on my Geography page under Sites That Cover Many Areas.
