Soundbadge

Posted at 12:01 am under music and art, reading

Soundbadge is another site I learned about from the eHub blog.

Once you go to Soundbadge, you have to answer several questions about yourself.  Based on the answers, a unique musical sound is created.  You can then email the url of your “soundbadge” and post it on a blog, website or online journal.

English Language Learners develop their vocabulary by answering the questions (they’re a little tricky but probably accessible to Intermediate level students) and then they can write a description of their “soundbadge,” too.

I’ve placed the link on my Examples of Student Work page under Student Songs

Because of construction, access to our computer labs at school right now is limited.  I’m looking forward to having my students try-out some of the sites I’ve been posting about since June.
