Japanese Internment

Posted at 1:08 pm under social studies, teacher resources

Blogwalker shares about an extraordinary history project that they just completed called Time of Remembrance.

The site includes video interviews with Japanese-Americans interned during that shameful part of U.S. History during World War II.  It also has numerous other resources related to the internment experience.

English Language Learners from various levels can access information on the site.  It’s also an incredibly rich resource for students and teachers at all levels.

I’ve placed the link on my Teacher’s Page under Social Studies Resources.
