Wordbreaker

Wordbreaker is a fun game where the player picks a four letter word; the computer picks a four letter word; and then you compete against each other to see who can figure it out first.   It’s not just a matter of guessing, though.  The best way to describe it is that the process sort of has a vague resemblance to Hangman.

It’s fun, and all levels of English Language Learners can play.

Students should be able to play in pairs back at the classroom after they learn the game from the computer.

I’ve placed it on my Intermediate English page at the bottom of the Word Games category.
