Zoho Show

Posted at 9:07 pm under web 2.0

I continue to be amazed at the number of free web applications that are being made available to create PowerPoint-like presentations.  I learned from Mashable today that a new entered the market — Zoho Show.

I haven’t gotten a chance yet to try it out and see how accessible it is for English Language Learners.  I’ve got to start experimenting with several of these tools, though, since my students will be using one of them next semester.

It looks like, as in Google Docs new Presentation tool, you can “chat” with others while you’re collaborating to create the presentation.

Several other blogs have reviewed the “new” Zoho Show today, and all the ones I’ve read said it’s superior to Google Docs.  However, as I mentioned earlier, I’m not sure how accessible it is to English Language Learners.

You can see a long list of these tools on my Examples of Student Work page under Student Slideshows.
