The Maya
I’ve learned about a great site called Culture Focus: Exploring the World thanks to Phyllis’ Favorites.
Even though I’m highlighting here their section on the ancient Maya and Guatamela, they also have pages on Cambodia, Egypt, Peru, Namibia, and many other countries.
The site has excellent images and language accessible to Intermediate English Language Learners.
I’ve placed the link on my World History page under The Middle Ages.
