I posted a few days ago about the expanded resources available on the Maps-of-War website.  Coincidentally, today they announced the addition of a ninety second animated map charting the history of democracy in the world, called the March of Democracy.

That is, it charts the march of democracy if you don’t include slaves, other people of color, and women…. But, if you include a conversation with students about those significant omissions, the map can be a useful tool and accessible to English Language Learners.

I’ll be placing the link on my World History page.
