Responding To Comments

Posted at 4:13 pm under blogs

I appreciate the comments that people leave on this blog, and respond quickly to the vast majority of them.  However, since I think that a lot of people don’t “check” the box that automatically forwards responses after they leave a comment, I generally just send an email.

I know I should also respond on the blog itself so that all readers know I take comments seriously, as Sue Waters has correctly pointed-out.  And sometimes I do copy and paste my response here.  However, often I feel just too pressed for time and omit that part.

I generally, though, won’t respond to comments left by the owners of web applications who want people to use their products unless they are responding to a question I’ve asked them.

One response so far

I always check that box. I like to follow the thread and also look forward to comments from the blog author.
