City-Data

Posted at 12:00 am under social studies

I’ve posted in the past about excellent sites for demographic research that are also accessible to English Language Learners.  Today, I’d like to share about City-Data, which is probably too complicated except for Advanced English Language Learners.  However, it has such a wealth of information that I thought it was still worth sharing.

Type in a name of pretty much any good-sized city in the United States and you’ll get a huge amount of….data about that city.  It will be displayed in a variety of forms.

I’ve placed the link on my Social Studies page (which is designed, in large part, for native-English speakers) under Statistics.  There are several other sites there worth reviewing, too.
