Obama & McCain Views On Education

Posted at 11:33 am under school reform, teacher resources

National Public Radio just aired, and published, what seems to be one of the better overviews I’ve seen of education positions by the two Presidential candidates.

McCain, Obama Offer Dueling Education Plans offers some good details, including listing their education advisers.

Thanks to Reading Today for the link.

Thanks for this link. I’ve been wanting to feature something on our blog about the candidates education policy, and this will be perfect.

The article mentions, but does not dwell on, a key difference between the two with regards to online education. I posted up my short take on the subject, and several commentators on my blog added more. To me, transitioning federal funds to support online education is an important issue.
