Converting Documents To PDF’s

Posted at 4:30 pm under teacher resources, technology

This post is a little different from my usual posts since it’s more technology than teaching-related.

I’ve been accumulating links to PDF converters — online tools that allow you to easily convert any file into a PDF, and thought readers might find them helpful.

First, since, until recently, I didn’t really understand why I might want to convert a document to a PDF, here’s an article listing ten reasons Why To Convert Word To PDF.

Here are links to several online conversion tools:

Guardar Como PDF

Sue Waters, in the comments, reminds me that I forgot to include Zamzar. Thanks, Sue!

I’d also include Zamzar since it converts to PDF and converts PDFs to Word documents (which is handy if you want to edit them).

For those using Microsoft Office 2007, Microsoft has a FREE add-in for exporting Word, Powerpoint, etc. 2007 to PDF format.
