Open Web Awards
The Mashable blog is sponsoring a second annual Open Web Awards highlighting web applications in 26 categories.
You can nominate your favorite applications until November 16th. Then they’ll be a month of voting.
Once the nominations are public, it’ll be a good opportunity to learn about new tools. I suspect there won’t be any big surprises among the winners, but I wouldn’t be surprised to find one or two new web applications among the nominees that would be useful in education.
