SSI Extension For Refugees
The Catholic Legal Immigration Network just published a short and simple overview of the new The SSI Extension for Elderly and Disabled Refugees Act, which extends SSI eligibility for many refugees.
This is a pretty important piece of legislation for many families of English Language Learner students, especially in this time of economic downturn.
