I’ve posted here several times and mentioned that I’ve always found Wikipedia and Simple English Wikipedia to be good sources of accurate and accessible information. I know there are others who disagree.

Scott McLeod has written a good post explaining the safeguards Wikipedia uses to ensure its accuracy, and summarizes recent research studies about it. It’s worth a look.
