Europeana Crashes And Dies (But Will Live Again!)

Europeana is the European Union’s effort to digitize millions of objects from the continent’s museums, archives and libraries and make them available online. After receiving over 10 million hits an hour when it launched two days ago, it crashed. It’s supposed to try launching again in mid-December.

Once it’s up-and-running, it should be a good resource for teachers and students alike.
