Yahoo has a weird, but cool, site called the Emoticarolers.
Pick a few of their emoticons, choose a Christmas carol, send it off to a friend or just paste the url on a teacher blog or website. A group of emoticons then sing your carol of choice and, even better, show the words as they sing them.
But that’s not all. If you want, you can write your own words to the carol they sing.
It’s an excellent application for English Language Learners, which is why I’m adding it to The Best Places To Learn About Christmas, Hanukkah, & Kwanzaa.
Thanks to Kim Komando for the tip.
Hi Larry
I am so impressed with your site. You are always full of up-to-date and brilliant ideas for teachers. You are on my Blog sidebar RSS widget and so, I always have a look there and I have learned a lot of new ideas from you.
I have just created my own fun version of “Jingle Bells” from the “Emoticarolers” site which you have just mentioned in your recent posting.
Thanks for inspiring me so much as a teacher!
