Book List

Posted at 9:53 pm under teacher resources

I have found over the years that I’ve been able to apply — to my community organizing work, to my teaching, and to my personal life — some useful information and concepts that I’ve learned from reading some “business” books.

Fast Company Magazine has a slideshow of what they think are The Best Business Books of 2008, and I have to admit a few look pretty intriguing.

    Larry,
Thanks for the heads-up. One of the most revolutionary books for me as a teacher was a “business” book.
It’s Daniel Pink’s A Whole New Mind: Why Right-Brainers Will Rule the Future. I got some great writing ideas for my ESL students as well as good insight as to how to prepare my students for a successful and fulfilling life.
