Claritas has some pretty impressive demographic information on neighborhoods in the United States. With guidance, the site would be accessible to high Intermediate and Advanced English Language Learners.
This is another website that would be useful in the neighborhood analysis project my students do each year.
I’ve placed the link on my website under Student Neighborhood Maps.
Dear Larry,
Thank you for the interesting link to Claritas’ GIS program. Without meaning to be snarky, I wanted to comment on the grammatical errors in your post. I know that the errors are more a result of your busy schedule than of carelessness. Ordinarily, I would not bother with this sort of comment, but since you teach English skills to others, I thought it would be helpful and that you would not be offended.
Please review and correct the errors in the second and third paragraphs of your post. In the second paragraph where the sentence reads, “This is another website that would useful,” please insert the helping verb “be” before the word “useful.” In the third paragraph, please change, “I’ve place the link” to “I’ve placed the link,” to correct the verb tense.
Best regards,
