Here is an addition to The Best Places Where Students Can Write For An “Authentic Audience”:

MAKE A TOP TEN LIST: Students can make a “top ten” list of anything they want — cars, books, video games — and describe the reasons for their rankings.  Two popular sites that encourage user contributions (and make it easy to do so) are Lists Of Bests and The Top Tens.
