NY Times Launches Great Way For Students To Write For An Authentic Audience

The New York Times recently launched Student Opinion “to create a “safe space” on NYTimes.com – and on the Internet overall – for students 13 and older to voice their views on the news.”

  1. What a great idea. It seems that nowadays so many young people just aren’t interested in the news. This seems like a great way to make it more relevant to them.

  2. This is an excellence resource. Perhaps it could give students an opportunity to weigh in on school reform issues, too.
