I just joined and it looks pretty cool. This site has audio\video chat built right in. There is also an interactive whiteboard, share resources such as site links, forums, blogs, and more. I see there are teachers looking to connect with other classrooms up there now.

We began developing ClassChats.com after a third grade teacher in our school district started her Chat Across the USA project. She was receiving so many email messages from people interested in doing the same thing, we wanted to help try to bring these people together. ClassChats.com does have multi-person audio\video chat along with direct video chat like Skype or Google Chat. It offers a place for teachers to collaborate through the use of blogs and forums as well as share resources such as site URLS, and files. We hope that Classchats.com will be a useful tool as our members begin to make classroom connections as Mrs. McInnes has done.
