Locked In Gaza is a New York Times slideshow and Growing Up In Gaza is a Times’ video.
I’m adding both to The “Best” Resources For Learning About The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict.

I’ve been following your blog for a while and really appreciate the sites you list. I do, however, have a problem with this site being listed without any background knowledge as to why the situation in Gaza is so horrific. I hope that you will add sites that give the viewer a history of the Middle East. Why is it that the refugees in Israel from 1948 were welcomed and assimilated into the county, yet the Palestinian refugees have been kept in settlement camps for the past 60 years? That is a question that needs to be addressed to truly understand the Palestinian situation. Has the situation worsened since Hamas has been in control? This is not a black and white situation, yet the slide show indicates that it is.
Good point sgweiss….
I just finished viewing the documentary (new), This Palestinian Life. A very balanced and revealing documentary about how trapped people are.
Despite how many might see it as “subjective”, I also recommend last year’s Hamas made “They shoot elephants” as a doc. Raw and informative. available in full on dotsub. http://dotsub.com/view/656346df-69a8-487a-98e2-51fb60d2a499
