Wrttn.in is a new application that lets you write something and lets you embed just about anything with an embed code.
It’s a nice little app, but I’m not ready to add it to The Best Places Where Students Can Write Online.

This is a very basic app, but I can see this being used as a work around for some teachers/students. For instance, I had a teacher at a workshop who is going to use glogster with his high school English class. He wanted to link to a document, for instance a critique they wrote. Using Wrttn.in they could copy their critique into the app and ‘create’ it, then link the url given to the glogster project.
I don’t see students creating within it, but copy and pasting something they already have written might work well.
