Xtranormal Will No Longer Be Free

Xtranormal, the popular site that lets you create 3D animated videos, has announced that, except for very limited features, you’ll have to start paying to use the site. You can read more about it at NPR — Xtranormal Charges For Formerly Free Cartoon Tools.

They do offer free limited accounts to teachers, but not to students.

Xtranormal has been on The Best New Sites Students Should Use With Supervision, but, with these changes, I may have to remove it from there.

Thanks to Jackie Gerstein for the tip.

  1. It’s a pity they charge as I use the site quite a lot with my students!! I wish they give us a nice solution to that! Smiles from Argentina, Maria đŸ™‚
