Diigo Says They’ve Connected To Delicious Again — I’m Not Convinced Yet

Diigo, the bookmarking service that in the past automatically sent copies of your bookmarks to Delicious, just sent out a tweet saying that they are connected to Delicious again. Last week, that automatic back-up process was stopped.

However, I bookmarked some sites ten minutes ago with diigo as a test, and they have not yet been bookmarked at Delicious. Perhaps it just takes them awhile,or perhaps it’s just not working.

Is it working for you?

  1. That is such good news! Mine isn’t working yet either, but I will be happy when it does. Maybe it takes time to save all the bookmarks from the past week. I hope it transfers all of them! Thanks for the news!

  2. I bookmarked a site on Diigo maybe half an hour ago and it hasn’t moved over to Delicious yet, but I did just see that a site I bookmarked on Diigo on September 27th just appeared in Delicious dated today. Perhaps it is going to take time for Delicious to pull in all of the sites it missed since things stopped working on the 26th or 27th.

Delicious has had several issues since its relaunch. I changed out the code on my blog to show my latest bookmarks from Diigo instead of Delicious. I am hoping Delicious continues to exist; I like having my book marks in two places just in case, but Diigo is far more usable to me now.
