  1. I love your resources, though I teach in Korea and have to bite my tongue from calling it “Chinese” New Year since here in Korea it’s “Lunar” New Year.

  2. Love the resources! Chinese New Year has always been a good start for doing things right. It is mostly celebrated with festivity, gift giving and of course fortune. This event is also associated with the 12 zodiac signs. And for this year, it is the year of the dragon.

  3. Good afternoon,

My name is Abby Herbert and I help to run a website offering hundreds of free foundation stage and key stage 1 teaching resources called Early Learning HQ (

I can see that you have a section on your website about Chinese New Year and I thought I would just take a moment to draw your attention to the Celebrations and Festivals section on our site, where you will find numerous resources relating to this topic (as well as lots of other holidays). I’m sure that the the people that use your site will also find these resources useful (especially the teachers), so I was wondering if you would consider linking to our page? You can find our Celebration and Festival resources here:

I hope you find the resources useful, everything is created by me and a small team in Wales and it would be really nice if we could share them with more people. Let me know if there is anything else I can make for you.

    Thank you,
