In yet another attempt to get at the enormous backlog I have of sites worth sharing, I’ve recently begin a regular feature called “The Week In Web 2.0.” It’ll be a short compilation of new decent sites that are worth noting, but maybe not necessarily worth a separate post:

enThread is a super-simple online tool for photo-editing — drag, drop, edit. I’m adding it to The Best Sites For Online Photo-Editing & Photo Effects.

Hello Slide lets you upload a PDF of your PowerPoint. You can then type in the narration and it will use a text-to-speech feature to provide audio to your slideshow. You can read more about it at Richard Byrne’s blog. I’m adding it to The Best Ways To Create Online Slideshows.

Jux lets you display just about any content you have — photos, slideshows, video, text — in a very attractive way. However, it’s a little too complicated for my taste, and I think for many students — especially considering the more simple options available. It’s worth a look, though.
