I posted about a very moving video about a blind dog that was rescued from the garbage, and shared that I was going to have my English Language Learner students watch it and then write sentences describing what they had seen.

Well, David Mearns, an English teacher in Turkey, had an even better idea. He created a simple tutorial with tildee (that tool, by the way, is on The Best Web 2.0 Applications For Education In 2011 list) incorporating excellent questions for students. I’ll certainly be using it in class.

I’ll be adding this idea to The Best Popular Movies/TV Shows For ESL/EFL (& How To Use Them).

And, while I’m at it, I’ll also add a Twitter Chat summary from #ELTchat on using movies and videos in and out of class to the same list.
