The Best Tools For Displaying Instagram Photos On The Web

Instagram has finally created their own website

I’m a big fan of Instagram (see The Web 2.0/Social Media Tools I Use Everyday & How I Use Them), and I sure hope Facebook doesn’t mess it up.

Instgram itself doesn’t have a way to display photos on the Web, but others have stepped into the void and created easy tools to do so. Here is a beginning list of them:

Pinstagram

Webagram

Gramfeed

Webstagram

5th Village

Instadash

SPECIAL ADDITION:

Sue Waters has done it again with an extraordinary post titled The Educator’s Guide to Instagram and Other Photo Apps.

She shares everything you’d possibly need to know about them.

Feel free to offer feedback and additional suggestions.

If you found this post useful, you might want to look at previous “The Best…” lists and also consider subscribing to this blog for free.

  1. quickgallery.com allows to create photo galleries from instagram photos. It’s free and easy to use. You can embed the gallery in your webpage or blog.

  2. Hi! I’d like to mention Postano.com. It enables you to aggregate all of your feeds (i.e. Instagram, Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, RSS, etc) onto an embeddable iframe on your website. It’s geared more towards business, non-profit or other organizational use (rather than personal use) but it’s a really nice tool for the right applications. Check it out: http://www.postano.com/how-to-embed-pinterest-on-your-website/

  3. You can try http://ilikeslide.com/ for custom Instagram filters and slideshows.
