My wife bought me an iPad a couple of weeks ago and, slowly but surely, I’ve been testing it out. Here are three apps I’m downloading today that I thought readers might be interested in (and I’ll add them to The Best Resources For Beginning iPad Users):

I learned about InkFlow from Richard Byrne. It looks like a great way to take visual and text notes.

SoundNote looks very similar, with the added advantage of being able to add audio notes.

Animate It is from the renowned creators of Wallace and Gromit, and lets you create your own own stop-motion animations. Thanks to Eric Sheninger for the tip.
