Subscribing to one’s own Twitter feed is a great way to have them available in a searchable archive. And it’s also a way that people who are not on Twitter can still subscribe to your tweets.
I know a number of people have been subscribers to my RSS Twitter feed. However, for some reason, it recently stopped working. So, if you are interested in re-subscribing, here’s the new RSS feed.
An easy way to subscribe to anyone’s Twitter RSS feed is to use this url:
api.twitter.com/1/statuses/user_timeline.rss?screen_name=xxxxx
Instead of the “xxxxx” at the end, just type in the Twitter user’s name (that they use on Twitter). For example, my is “larryferlazzo”.

It still works for me. Can’t say what the problem might be….

The probably appears to be that you exceed the rate limit
The limit (currently) is 150 times/hr unauthenticated and 250 times/hr if you are authenticated. Read more from the API docs here: https://dev.twitter.com/docs/api/1.1/get/statuses/user_timeline
