Google has just announced a new Google+ feature called Google+ Communities.
Here’s a video on it, and you can read more about it here. By the way, they also announced that Google+ now has half a billion users. You can follow me on Google+ here.
I’m adding this info to The Best Resources For Learning What Google+ Is All About.

Was the “here” in “you can read more about it here” meant to be a link?

Yes, it was. It’s linked now. Thanks, Arthur, for letting me know.

You’re welcome, and thanks for correcting it.
I was amused to note that the Google Official Blog entry on this feature includes the sentence “Today Google+ is the fastest-growing network thingy ever.”
I’m a big fan of using precise technical terms such as “network thingie.”
