Unfortunately, it’s that time of the year for most of us — standardized testing time. This article from San Diego describes some of the hullabaloo schools organize, including rallies, incentives, heavy-duty test prep.

Too bad more people haven’t read what I called the most important research study of 2012. It documents that yes, these kinds of strategies might result in short-term gain. However, they most certainly will also result in long-term loss.
