In yet another attempt to get at the enormous backlog I have of sites worth sharing, I’ve recently begin a regular feature called “The Week In Web 2.0.” It’ll be a short compilation of new decent sites that are worth noting, but maybe not necessarily worth a separate post and generally — though not always — not worthy of being on a “The Best…” list (let me know if you think I’m wrong in my assessment, though):

Digital Curation: Putting the Pieces Together is an excellent post by Sue Waters discussing curation and offering many suggested online tools. I’m adding it to The Best Posts & Articles About Curation.

Teacher Training Videos has an excellent tutorial on using YouTube. I’m adding it to A Potpourri Of The Best & Most Useful Video Sites.

Culturalist looks like an intriguing site. Here’s how it describes itself:

Culturalist is the social network where the culture conversation is happening. Our users shape, share and debate their opinions about anything and everything through Top Ten lists.

To get started, Explore the conversations users are having right now. When you find one you want to weigh in on, you can curate images, videos, and text into your own shareable Top Ten. Your voice is now added to the Aggregate list, defining our collective cultural opinion on that topic.

At Culturalist, the entire world is the content—and you’re the editor. Join us and cultivate your life… one Top Ten list at a time.
