I’ve started a somewhat regular feature where I share a few posts and resources from around the Web related to ESL/EFL or to language in general that have caught my attention:

MakeBeliefsComix has created a free downloadable book with writing prompts for English Language Learners. It looks like a nice piece of work.

The Education Commission of the States (who I had never heard of, but that may just be another example of my ignorance) have published a report on challenges facing English Language Learners. You probably won’t find anything new there in terms of recommendations, but it does have some up-to-date statistics. For that reason, I’m adding it to The Best Ways To Keep-Up With Current ELL/ESL/EFL News & Research. Thanks to Learning the Language for the tip.

3 fun online activities for practicing verb tenses is by Adam Simpson. I’m adding it to The Best Web Tools For Teaching Irregular Verbs & Verb Tenses — Contribute Your Suggestions!

The British Council has a good series of interactive writing skills exercises. I’m adding them to The Best Websites For K-12 Writing Instruction/Reinforcement.

Inspiring English teachers:a comparative study of learner perceptions of inspirational teaching is a useful downloadable paper from the British Council.
