Racism. Really?
Racism?
Calendar alert! The year is 2014. We are not in 1965. It is 2014.
Yes, all the old hippies want it badly to be 1965. Yes, the children of the hippies want moments like 1965. We get that.
But racism? Really? You would suck yourself down that low as to inflame a bad situation? Shame on you, and shame on all the clueless media who exploit the poor people of Ferguson.
Take a real stand. Stand up for jobs and education for the people of all places like Ferguson.
Give out some real facts. Fact like Black unemployment in St. Louis is the 3rd worse in the nation.
Facts like you need a diploma to get a job.
Facts like the male black graduation rate in St. Louis is a pathetic 33%.
When the male black graduation rate went up 5% across America, it went down 5% in St. Louis.
If you don’t have a diploma and can’t get a job, that’s not racism, it’s just the reality of life in 2014. Black, white, brown, the job market doesn’t care what color you are if you can’t graduate from high school.
C’mon, America, pull your heads out of 1965. Let’s talk about the real issues in St. Louis, Detroit, DC, Cleveland, LA, etc.
Let’s talk about the bad ideas and policies that have kept city kids under-educated, and urban jobs un-created.
