The Age of Mega-Cities is a cool interactive from the Smithsonian.

A Continent-by-Continent History of the World Graphic is impressive, though a bit hard-to-follow.

Common Mythconceptions: World’s Most Contagious Falsehoods is a great infographic from Information is Beautiful.
