is an excellent post by UK educator Tom Bennett that’s worth reading in full.

In it, he distinguishes between “evidence-based” and “evidence-informed” education (and the dangers of the former), primarily talking about research as the “evidence” in question. In many ways, I think his points might be similar to ones I make in The Best Resources Showing Why We Need To Be “Data-Informed” & Not “Data-Driven.”
