Last week, I posted about the newly-announced TED-Ed Español.

In it, I wondered if they were going to try to create new videos or just develop Spanish versions of the ones (admittedly, most of which are very high-quality) they’ve already made in English. It would seem to me this would be an opportunity to connect to the creativity and experience of thousands of Spanish-speaking teachers around the world by creating culturally responsive lessons.

They just released their first video, and it’s a remake of the first TED-Ed video that was made in English. I’ve embedded both the new Spanish version and the older English version below. I’d be interested in hearing what fluent Spanish-speakers think…
