The Golden State Warriors & Social Emotional Learning

The Golden State Warriors are not only incredibly enjoyable to watch, along with being inspirational to basketball players everywhere (I, too, imagine myself as Stephen Curry when I shoot from the three-point line, though my percentage is a bit lower than his 🙂 ), they are also wonderful examples to use when teaching students Social Emotional Learning Skills.

Today, thanks to Dan Pink, I learned about yet another Warriors story to use. I think this one is best to realate to a growth mindset. It’s from Business Insider and is titled The Warriors use criticism as motivation and even have a group chat to share negative stories.
