Another Flawed TED-Ed Video & Lesson On Social Change, But Still Potentially Useful

“How to turn protest into powerful change” is a new TED-Ed lesson and video with Eric Liu that, like earlier ones (see Video: Potentially Useful TED Talk – “Why ordinary people need to understand power” and Good, But Not Great, Ted-ED Video & Lesson On Power & Change), misses several important points (including talking and listening to others, developing leadership, negotiating compromises), but does make some good points (like pushing for early easy wins).

But it is a well-done video, and could be useful to initiate a discussion about what’s in it and what’s not included.

If you are going to use it, I’d suggest you also incorporate other resources found at The Best Posts & Articles On Building Influence & Creating Change and The Best Websites For Learning About Civic Participation & Citizenship.
