Anindya Kundu, who I believe is a adjunct professor at New York University, has a new short TED Talk titled “The boost students need to overcome obstacles.”

His talk reminds me of what researchers  David Yeager, Gregory Walton and Geoffrey L. Cohen have defined as “the fuller formula for success: effort + strategies + help from others.”

In other words, individual “grit” is not enough.
