Video: “I’m Always Early” (& How I’m Using It In Class)

Angela Duckworth shared this video from last year on Twitter.

I’m going to show it to my IB Theory of Knowledge classes and my ELL History classes. I start my classes two minutes before the bell rings, and there is often some not-that-angry grumbling about it. This video (I’d probably stop it right before he starts connecting it to early voting) and writing prompt could be a good reinforcing activity for my class, as well as for other activities and appointments they might have….

Why do you think former President Barack Obama thinks it’s so important to always arrive early at appointments and events? Do you agree with his position? To support your opinion you may use examples from your own experiences, your observations of others, and anything you have read.
