Bill and Melinda Gates issued their annual “Letter” today where they say they haven’t been very successful with school reform and that they are going to focus more of their efforts on alleviating poverty (see The Best Places To Learn What Impact A Teacher (& Outside Factors) Have On Student Achievement).

They’re still planning on putting a lot of money into school reform, though.

Oddly, they literally scrawled on the edge of their letter (see screenshot at top of the post) “we’re constantly learning from principals and teachers across the country.”

I hope that continues….

The Associated Press did an interview with the two of them, and I think that’s a lot more interesting than their letter.
